What a summer!

We've been all over the place this summer, from Niagra Falls to Carlsbad Caverns, and in between trips I've been working hard at mosaic and motherhood.  I've had plenty to post about and done nothing!  Life is what happens when you're making other plans, or so I've been told by some of the wiser people in my life.  So, for my first post in some time, I'd love to share some of my skulls!  I have the honor of being invited to Mariposa Gallery to participate in their annual Day of the Dead invitational.  The invitational takes place at the gallery along with a show of work by the talented artist, Sam Esmoer, who has a collection of paintings and cigar boxes available at Mariposa for the month of October.  The Day of the Dead is one of my favorite times of year, and the Opening Reception is sure to be fun.  I hope to see some familiar faces!
